About
Music for Youth, Inc.
The mission of Music for Youth is to foster a love of live classical and world music, supporting the study, performance and understanding of music by students of all ages.
This mission is realized each season with our series of programs; Friday Night Cafe, School Residency programs, the Young Persons’ Concert Series, College Prep for Musicians Series and an annual Instrumental Scholarship Competition.
Music for Youth was incorporated in 2002 as a not-for-profit organization. Run largely by volunteers with training and careers in music and the arts, they are devoted to implementing the mission of the organization.
